We'd been promising a return to Sega for an RGB episode for a long time. For some reason it just kept on getting pushed further into the future. Before this, my next 200 level episode was going to be Neo Geo...then it got changed to Turbografx-16. Saturn came about because it was not only an easier one to do, it just made sense now.

I had a pretty hard time getting into making this one at first. My last system specific RGB episode was the Genesis/Sega CD/32X episode which came out...TWO years ago. No idea why it took me so long.

We showed the first segment of this episode during our panel at TooManyGames 2017 during our RGB Master Class LIVE panel. There were a number of changes made to that intro before release, including correcting a number of factual mistakes. This stuff is never easy!
